Everyone perceives color differently. Pretend that you are describing your favorite color to a blind person.

Dialogue is tricky. Create an argument between two fictitious characters without identifying either one.
Bad Example: “You’re ridiculous,” He said, “and immature!” “Your breath smells like farts,” she replied.
Good example: “You’re ridiculous and immature!” “Your breath smells like farts.”
Let the character’s voices identify them!

Include the line, “I don’t want to fail because of someone else’s mistake,” in your next piece

Write about something ugly, (war, hate, cruelty) but find the beauty in it.
